Hello.

Welcome to my website. I'm grateful that you're here and considering me as a potential source of support.

Many of us carry unresolved pain from the past that shows up in our adult lives, preventing us from living fully. Inner child work is a powerful, transformative process that will allow you to connect with the vulnerable parts of yourself that have been neglected, hurt, or silenced. I specialize in helping women (and youth) explore the roots of these wounds so they can break free from patterns that keep them feeling stuck.

If you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, life stress, self-esteem challenges, difficult family or relational dynamics, the effects of narcissistic abuse, self-harm or suicidal ideation, or grief and loss, it would be my privilege to walk alongside you as you reclaim safety, confidence, and emotional well-being.

I believe healing begins the moment you feel truly heard. My work is relational, trauma-informed, and attachment-based. I aim to provide a safe and compassionate space where we can work collaboratively to rebuild self-trust, foster self-compassion, transform your relationship with yourself and others, and develop the tools needed to move forward with greater clarity and inner peace.

To provide personalized care, I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches grounded in extensive professional training. I am a Certified EMDR Therapist and a Certified Narcissistic Abuse Treatment Clinician, with additional training in IFS for EMDR and Peaceful Brain-Body Parenting. When appropriate, and with your permission, my dog, Heidi, may also join our sessions to offer extra comfort and grounding.

I’m here to support you in reclaiming your voice, your power, and your true self. Thank you for taking your time to explore my site to learn more about me and my approach. If you’re ready to start your healing journey, please reach out for a free telephone consultation so we can discuss more about how we can work together to help you cultivate a compassionate relationship with yourself. I look forward to the opportunity to connect with you!

In kindness,

Kendra

EMDR.

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a gentle, effective approach that helps the brain heal from painful or overwhelming experiences. Sometimes, even when we know something is “in the past,” our body and emotions still feel stuck there. EMDR helps unlock those memories so they can be processed in a healthier way, allowing you to feel calmer, lighter, and more present in your life.

As an EMDR Certified Therapist, I’ll guide you through this process at your pace, creating a safe space for healing and growth.

IFS.

IFS (Internal Family Systems) is a gentle, empowering approach that helps us understand and heal the different “parts” within us. We all carry parts — some that protect us, some that hold pain, and others that help us thrive. Sometimes these parts can feel in conflict, leaving us stuck or overwhelmed. IFS creates a compassionate way to listen to and care for these parts, so they no longer have to carry their burdens alone.

Through this process, many people discover a stronger sense of self, more balance, and greater inner peace.

IFS for EMDR.

IFS (Internal Family Systems) is a gentle, compassionate approach that helps us connect with the different “parts” of ourselves — the hurt parts, the protective parts, and the parts that help us move forward. When combined with EMDR, IFS gives us a way to better understand and care for those parts while reprocessing painful experiences. This allows healing to go even deeper, with more self-kindness and lasting change.

As a therapist trained in IFS for EMDR, I’ll support you in working with all the parts of your story in a safe and empowering way.

Narcissistic Abuse.

Healing from narcissistic abuse can feel confusing and overwhelming. This type of relationship often leaves people doubting themselves, questioning their reality, and carrying deep emotional wounds. Narcissistic Abuse Treatment is a specialized approach that helps you make sense of what happened, rebuild trust in yourself, and regain your sense of confidence and clarity.

As a Certified Narcissistic Abuse Treatment Clinician, I provide a safe, validating space to process your experiences, untangle the effects of manipulation, and support you in creating healthier patterns and relationships moving forward.

 Peaceful Parenting.

Peaceful Brain-Body Parenting is an approach that helps parents connect with their children through understanding, calm, and compassion. It’s based on the idea that when parents feel regulated and supported in their own nervous system, they can respond to their child with patience and clarity — even in challenging moments. This creates a safe and nurturing environment where children feel seen, heard, and understood, while parents feel more confident and connected.

It’s not about being a “perfect parent,” but about building trust, resilience, and a peaceful connection between you and your child.
